Program Overview
Diploma in Seerah of the Major Prophets explores the universal message and the particularities of the major prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. The prophets are chosen by God and are guided to accomplish the most important mission one could imagine. Their mission is to inform mankind of what they could not know by themselves with their knowledge, reasoning or experience. This include how to worship God, how to live in this world, the reality of death and the life after death. As such the message of the all the prophets of God are one and the same. The Muslims are commanded to follow all of them.
This course is suitable for every Muslims. The particularities of each the of the prophets discussed is relevant for the modern times more than ever before. For example Jesus came to a people who already had guidance but they were indifferent to it. This is very similar to the context of Muslims today. Therefore the life and message of Jesus Christ is very relevant for us. Prophet Ibrahim was a visionary, leader-par-excellence and a master-nation-builder, so much so that even Prophet Muhammad was instructed to follow the way of Ibrahim and take him as an example. Their are similar such unique traits with each of the Prophets for the 21st century man to follow.
