General Terms & Conditions

1. 1. Students should provide their full and correct postal address and phone number for communication purpose and if there is a change in the address or phone number or any other personal details whilst their enrolment in the College, it should be communicated to College
   2. College has full right to update its terms & conditions anytime, students will be communicated accordingly. If students need more explanation or have any issues with new terms & conditions or changes in existing terms & conditions, they should email to support@cambridgeislamiccollege.org
   3. College publishes dates for various academic events like exams, lectures, tutorial etc. In certain circumstances if the college is not able to meet the dates, College will reschedule the dates. College has the full right to do so. These are done to accommodate all the students and the teaching staff. As CIC believes in benefiting all the students and staff of College.
   4. Please check the Term/Semester dates (start and end of each diploma could be different) before you register.
   5. Classes have to be completed in time slots provided, no extension time will be provide if the student misses to complete the classes
   6. For Diploma and  Diploma Plus, the exams will be conducted at the end of the programme, the Tuition fee only covers taking the exams once in the provided time slots. If students desires to take the exam in some other time due to whatever reason, then there will be additional examination fee charged.
   7. For Diploma Plus, the assignments should be completed in the specified time.
   8. For Diploma and Diploma Plus, the examination results will be announced with 2 months of completion of the exam
   9. It is strictly prohibited to download the video lectures for personal use or for distribution.
   10. All the material provided on the Learning Management system is the property of the College and it cannot be shared or distributed to anyone.
   11. It is strictly prohibited to share your CIC LMS account details with anyone (this includes family members, friends or anyone else).
   12. Your grades, progress in projects and any form of assessments will be kept confidential. However should the College decide to publish results of its meritorious students, College has the full right to do so.
   13. Your communication with College is confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone else.
   14. Tuition fee for All Programes offered by College is 100% non-refundable if you choose to leave after 1 month of enrolment.
   15. If you have chosen the subscription model of payment for tuition fee, and any one payment is skipped or cancelled or not paid, then access to the classes will be suspended immediately and subscription cancelled. After the subscription cancelled if you wish to make the payment and continue with programme whilst the diploma is still in progress, then you will have to make the remainder of the full payment to get reinstated as the student and gain access.
   16. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining. You will be charged only some part of the fee and rest of the amount will be refunded - See individual programmes Terms & Conditions for details.

 

Diploma in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies 

1. 1. All the Terms & Conditions specifed under General Terms & Conditions are valid for this Programme
   2. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining of Year-1 or Year-2, then you will be charged only 1/5th the Diploma fee and rest of the amount will be refunded to you.
   3. Term Examinations will be held with in 4 weeks after the completion of each Term.
   4. Examination results for Term exams will be announced within 4 weeks after the completion of Examinations.
   5. There will be no Term exam for Term-4 for both Year-1 and Year-2, Instead there will be Year-1 and Year-2 Final exams.
   6. The text books provided will be in PDF form. These pdf files can only be shared with the students of this programme.
   7. Its the responsibility of the students to complete all the assignements and lecture viewing on time and keep upto date with the progamme content.

 

Diploma in Advanced Qur'anic Tafsir Studies

1. 1. All the Terms & Conditions specifed under General Terms & Conditions are valid for this Programme
   2. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining of Year-1 Semester-1 or 2, then you will be charged only 1/5th the Diploma fee and rest of the amount will be refunded to you.
   3. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining of Year-2 Semester-1 or 2, then you will be charged only 1/5th the Diploma fee and rest of the amount will be refunded to you.
   4. Term Examinations will be held with in 4 weeks after the completion of each Semester.
   5. Examination results for Term exams will be announced within 4 weeks after the completion of Examinations.
   6. There will be no Semester exam for Semester-2 for both Year-1 and Year-2, Instead there will be Year-1 and Year-2 Final exams.
   7. Its the responsibility of the students to complete all the assignements and lecture viewing on time and keep upto date with the progamme content.

 

Online Diplomas

   2. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining of Diploma, then you will be charged only 1/5th the Diploma fee and rest of the amount will be refunded to you.
   3. Examinations will be held with in 4 to 6 weeks after the completion of Diploma.
   4. Examination results for exams will be announced within 4 weeks after the completion of Examinations.
   5. Its the responsibility of the students to complete all the assignements and lecture viewing on time and keep upto date with the progamme content.

 

 

 

Cambridge Islamic Sciences Diploma Series

1. 1. All the Terms & Conditions specifed under General Terms & Conditions are valid for this Programme
   2. Your 3 years membership with CIC starts from the day you enrolled into this programme and ends exactly 3 years from that date
   3. You will receive an automated message from Cambridge Islamic College with your user name and password
   4. for www.cambridgeislamiccollege.org/lms access. (Note : If you already have Cambridge Islamic College LMS Account, then please use that. No separate email will be sent)
   5. During these 3 years of CIC Membership you will be able to enrol for each of the 12 diploma programme only once and attend the exam only
   6. once for each of them. We recommend that you enrol for 2 Diplomas at a time and enrol for the next set of 2 diplomas in the next semester.
   7. Diplomas will be running on a fixed schedule. Every month 2 diplomas will be starting and completing in the 6 months from the start date.
   8. Semester-1 for a Year 2015 is from May to Oct. Every month 2 diplomas will start and complete in the 6 months from the start date.
   9. Semester-1 for a Year is from Jan to June. Every month 2 diplomas will start and complete in the 6 months from the start date.
   10. Semester-2 for a Year is from July to Dec. Every month 2 diplomas will start and complete in the 6 months from the start date.
   11. If you decide to not continue with the programme and wish to leave the programme with in the first 1 month of joining of, then you will be charged only 100£ as fee and admin charges and rest of the amount will be refunded to you.

 

Friends of CIC

1. 1. All the Terms & Conditions specifed under General Terms & Conditions are valid for this Programme
   2. CIC Membership fee of 79£ is non-refundable.

 

Delivery Policy

1. 1. Once the fee is paid for a particular programme, students will be enrolled onto the programme within 2-3 working days.
   2. For programmes starting in the near future, enrolment will be completed within 30 working days prior to the start date of the programme.

 

Refund Policy
